NDIS Fees And Pricing

Understanding NDIS service fees is important for staying informed about the costs of your support. Here’s a clear breakdown of our fees.

NDIS Participants can use Capacity Building funding in their NDIS Plan and there are no ‘gap fees’.

We will provide you with a service agreement so that you know what services are being provided to you and the reasons why.

NDIS Fees Explained

Services are priced according to the NDIS Price Guide.

The current rates are:

  • Occupational Therapy: $193.99 per hour
  • Speech Pathology: $193.99 per hour
  • Allied Health Assistant: $86.79 per hour

These fees align with the latest NDIS Price Limits.

Standard Appointments

Sessions usually last for one hour. This includes 45 minutes of therapy and 15 minutes for documentation, planning, and progress updates.

Keeping accurate records is important to monitor your goals and progress.

Travel Time

Travel is billed at the standard hourly rate, with charges based on the travel time to and from your location.

If many people are seen in the same area, travel costs may be shared.

Reports and Progress Updates

Your practitioner may need to complete progress reports, especially before NDIS plan reviews. These reports help you and your plan manager assess your progress.

Reports typically take up to two hours to prepare.

Non-Face-to-Face Support

Non-face-to-face support, such as meetings or report writing, is also billed at the same hourly rate as therapy sessions.

Assessment and Reports

Formal assessments or reports, like functional capacity assessments or home modifications, vary in length.

Examples of common assessments include:

  • Occupational Therapy Reports:
  • Functional Capacity: 10 hours
  • Independent Living: 15 hours
  • Specialist Disability Accommodation: 25 hours

  • Speech Pathology Reports:
  • Speech and Language: 4-6 hours
  • Autism (ASD): 4 hours
  • Swallowing and Food Modification: 4-5 hours

These reports help ensure your NDIS plan accurately reflects your needs.

Be a Guide, Not Just a Teacher

As a therapist, your role is to guide, not just teach.

You should empower people by showing them how to make changes on their own.

When they feel confident and capable, the results will speak for themselves. - Laura-Jane
